I work at the intersection of ceramics and illustration.

My practice starts from personal experience (womanhood, motherhood, loss, vulnerability and recovery), but it searches for a universal visual language in which others can recognise themselves.

Drawing is where my images begin: sketches, layered prints and digital drawings in which empty space carries as much weight as the line. In clay, these images take on a body. Through form, texture, colour and surface, I turn them into sculptures and objects that hold a quiet tension between fragility and strength, alienation and comfort.

Nature runs through my work as a source of consolation and transformation. I am drawn to ceramics for its durability and its layers: a fired object can outlive generations. That permanence gives meaning to what I make. I want to build a body of work that invites recognition, opens conversation and connects people, now and long after.
